Voice for the Horse first took public form in 2011, when a private conviction became a shared conversation. From the beginning, the focus has been simple and enduring: helping children grow into adulthood with their voices intact through engaging children's music. It was never about a single project or moment; rather, it aimed to create real-world experiences grounded in empathy, responsibility, and connection — experiences meant to facilitate emotional growth music that resonates deeply and carries forward across generations. These are truly music horses for the soul, enriching the lives of children and guiding them on their journey to adulthood.

The following three songs were recorded in sequence as a personal growth journey for children, perfectly embodying the essence of children's music and emotional growth music.

Each song reflects a different stage of development — from belonging to resilience, and ultimately, to self-leadership.

**Waiting for You to Know Me**

This song serves as a gentle introduction to empathy and awareness. It invites children to slow down, see one another clearly, and understand that connection begins with kindness and patience.

**I Will Run With You**

**Stepping Into Your Life**

"My Pony Took Me Flying is a gentle, restorative lullaby — a piece of children's music that speaks to the child within us while also holding the wisdom of adulthood. Inspired by the tranquil stillness of a star-lit barn, this song reflects on the kind of peace that can only be found in simple, unguarded moments spent with a horse, making it a true example of emotional growth music.  

  "I lay down with my pony in the barn last night… I dreamed that I could see the stars and I could fly."

"Leading Your Way" was written as a heartfelt tribute to Seabiscuit — a remarkable horse whose inspiring story continues to symbolize perseverance, courage, and heart against the odds. 

Created in response to a meaningful invitation from the Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation, this children's music piece reflects on the quiet strength behind greatness. It emphasizes the resilience and belief that drive success, which transcends size or fame. 

Filmed at Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver, British Columbia, the music video pays homage to the spirit of Seabiscuit while celebrating the enduring bond between horses and humans. This emotional growth music serves as a reminder that true greatness is nurtured through humility, care, and conviction, echoing the sentiment of music for the soul, particularly among horse lovers.
