Yvonne Allen is the founder and creative director of Voice for the Horse.
Her work is shaped by more than fifteen years of experience in equine-assisted wellness, humane education, and values-based facilitation. Rooted in listening first — to horses, to children, and to the quiet truths that emerge in relationship — her approach is grounded not in instruction, but in presence.
In 2017, Yvonne was inducted into the World Massage Festival Hall of Fame in Cherokee, North Carolina, in recognition of her contributions to equine and therapeutic work. She is also a certified Virtues Project™ International Facilitator, supporting restorative dialogue and character-centered learning.
Today, she leads the creative direction of Voice for the Horse, stewarding original music, storytelling, and educational initiatives that honor the horse as teacher — and relationship as the foundation for meaningful change.
In 2017, I was inducted into the World Massage Festival Hall of Fame — a recognition of years of equine-centered practice and partnership.
This video captures my induction remarks at the 2017 World Massage Festival Hall of Fame. It reflects the heart behind my equine work — the partnerships, the lessons learned through horses, and the responsibility that comes with serving both animals and their people.
For those interested in the full induction segment, you may advance to 6:49 to view the formal presentation and remarks.
The practical equine work that informs this path continues through At Ease Equestrian.
