A Song of Kindness and the Virtues of Trust and Patience Waiting for You to Know Me invites listeners to slow down and truly see one another — to recognize the gentle wisdom shared in horse rescue stories, showcasing the bond between horses and children when trust is allowed to bloom. This sweet and tender country-style song serves as a reminder that kindness and understanding take time, and that love grows in the quiet moments of connection.
Through its melody, it opens a door to belonging — where being seen and known feels like coming home. This music for emotional learning encourages us to take the time to know another being, as it ultimately leads to understanding ourselves.
When we filmed Waiting for You to Know Me, our featured horse, Jackson, was still searching for a loving, permanent home.
What we didn’t know then was that his story wasn’t finished — it was only beginning.
We followed Jackson on his journey, and were there for the moment he stepped into his new forever home, a place where he is cherished, understood, and seen for the beautiful soul he is. With a new name, Sullivan, came a new chapter.
Today, Sullivan is a gifted vaulting horse — graceful, powerful, and trusted by the athletes who balance, dance, and fly upon his back. To celebrate this transformation, we filmed a special music video at Thunderbird Showpark, featuring world-renowned artist Templeton Thompson performing [Song Title].
It is a tribute to kindness, patience, and the magic that happens when a horse finally finds the place where he belongs.
Enjoy the video — and welcome to Sullivan’s new life.
